Simone Seisl

I am an apparel engineer and designer with an Austrian diploma. Over 15 years, I held various roles as a buyer for a multi-brand apparel retail chain, a designer, product manager, and category manager, for example at the headquarter of adidas. In 2009 I shifted my focus towards the sustainability aspects of the industry. I worked as a supply chain consultant for a global NGO, and as the head of marketing and sales at the vertical production house Remei.

In 2014, I founded my own consulting firm, assisting brands, retailers, suppliers, the educational sector, NGOs like Textile Exchange, and governmental projects, including the German Partnership for Sustainable Textiles and the development organization GIZ. I am based in the hills of the black forest close to Freiburg (GER) and Bale (CH).
